The Shin Sakura was made by the Art Yoshii company. Like the Mugen, these are now out of production, but unlike the maker of the Mugen the company itself went out of business. Thus inventory is very limited and they will never again be produced.

This version has an unpainted ball in a distinctive light color wood.

This particular kendama was acquired from a department store's inventory deadstock and the ball is slightly scuffed from apparently having been removed from the package at some point.
